SPOOKY BRIDES - HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It's that time of year. The leaves are changing, the weather is cooler, the lattes are more pumpkin-y... it's fall, ya'll! And fall brings with it the spookiest of holidays, Halloween. Weddings are usually not a source of fright, but we found a few examples of creepy brides from the movies to put you in the Halloween spirit (& maybe give you a costume idea). Trick or Treat!

JAW DROPPING ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

Engagement photos have gone far beyond the posed studio photographs of old, which were typically only used to announce an engagement in the local newspaper. Couples today usually shoot in several locations and in different wardrobe options to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. Engagement photo shoots are also a great way to test out wedding photographers to see if you like their photography and editing styles, or have a little fun and highlight something that the two of you love as a couple - besides each other, of course.

Over at Junebug Weddings, they have collected the best of the best for this year. Take a look at some of the amazing photos below and head over to Junebug Wedding's site to see the rest. You won't be disappointed, and may just find some inspiration for your own engagement photographs.

BRIDAL HAIR TRENDS

Hair. It's been called the best accessory a woman can have. That can be especially true on your wedding day. Your hairstyle brings your whole bridal look together and will be immortalized for years to come in photos, so you want your hair on your big day to look spectacular - whatever that means to you.

Below are four of the biggest trends in bridal hair right now. Let them serve as inspiration for your hair style on your wedding day, or find your own unique look. Whatever you choose, just make sure it reflects you as a person and as a bride. Here's to good hair days!

Braids
Braids are still a fashionable hairstyle option for brides. They are also very versatile. You can do a more un-done romantic braid, incorporate braids into an elegant updo, or create a bohemian look.

Jewels & Crowns
Throw away those tiaras - crowns and hair jewelry take on a more sophisticated look now a days. While flower crowns are still extremely popular for more casual or rustic affairs, jeweled pins, combs and crowns can make quite a statement, and add so much detail to your wedding hair. They are a great alternative to a veil, or can be worn with a veil during the ceremony, and be left in or shifted to another position to add some sparkle for the reception.

Chignons
A classic bridal look, the incredibly versatile chignon is usually worn low, toward the nape of the neck. You can have it loose and flowing, tight and smooth, pulled to the side... the possibilities are endless. No matter how you style a chignon, however, you are sure to have a timeless and beautiful wedding hairstyle.

Hollywood Glamour
Glamorous, soft waves reminiscent of the 40's and 50's are an excellent choice for your wedding day hair. Pull back one side with a jeweled comb for extra glamour.
