WEDDING TREND TUESDAY - LATE NIGHT SNACKS

Has this ever happened to you? You attend a wedding, have a delicious dinner and some cake, then stay and dance the night away and visit with friends and have a great time. Then you leave and realize you are a bit hungry? The dinner and cake have worn off, you hear a little growl from your stomach, and you consider grabbing a quick bite to eat on your way home?

A great way to avoid this situation at your own wedding is to have late night snacks available for your guests. Keep the party going by bringing out savory or sweet (or both) treats about an hour or hour and a half before the reception ends. Guests will leave satisfied and it's a unique way to add a touch of fun to the evening.

There are lots of ways to go with late night snacks, but remember to keep them bite sized, so they're easy for guests to nibble on while they chat, sip cocktails, & dance the night away.

Have a french fry or nacho bar, serve sliders or pretzels, or even have a favorite food truck stop by - there's lots of great ways to serve up tasty snacks!

Does the late night snack trend sound appetizing to you?

WEDDING TREND TUESDAY - FOOD & DRINK PAIRINGS

When most people think of pairing food with drink, they think of wine. White with fish, red with beef, which wine goes best with which cheese, etc. But with the rise of cooking shows, internet food blogs, and the mainstreaming of "foodie" culture, more people are interested in new flavors and combinations. This interest has carried over into weddings, where couples have taken to pairing tasty treats with liquid libations.
